BSX-RTC
BSX-RTC
This is a solution for people who have removed their clock capacitor and who do not want to lose their date and time when disconnected from mains power. It is an I2C device that communicates over your console's SMBUS, plugging straight into the BSX modchip's Motherboard I2C connector. The I2C out connector can be used to connect to HDMI mods that need to be configured using the SMBus. You can configure using PrometheOS, in the RTC expansion screen. The mod comes with the necessary cables to both plug into the BSX for data, and to tap the motherboard standby power. It also comes with a battery included. There are pads for the entire pinout that you can solder to if you need or want to for any reason.
If you would like a custom power cable (3.3V or 5V), simply use the "Contact Me" form on the website to let me know your order number and name and I will create a custom cable for you.
If you do not have a PrometheOS capable modchip, you can use the compiled XBE available on my github to program the RTC.
